Avril Bannink

Avril was admitted to practice in 2022 after earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Edith Cowan University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Laws. Since her admission, Avril has primarily focused on Statutory Insurance, where she has honed her skills in mediation and conciliation.

A mature-age law student, Avril brings a unique blend of skills to her legal practice, stemming from a long and successful career in change management. This extensive background cultivated excellent people skills, a keen ability to listen and understand diverse perspectives, and the capacity to identify and articulate different positions to facilitate mutually beneficial resolutions. This experience, combined with her legal expertise, ensures a meticulous and adaptable approach. She excels at managing complex processes, navigating stakeholder dynamics, and ensuring clear, efficient communication in her current legal role.
