I was sitting at the new Joondalup office last week when I took a moment to sit back in my chair to watch my wife work. I thought, to myself, how immensely proud I was of her. Amanda has been on a steep learning curve since leaving the light side of the force (Policing) to work for the dark side (lawyering). I was just blown away in that moment to see her having a crack at court documents that most lawyers would struggle with. Amanda wakes up at 4:00AM every day to study and is less than 12 months away from being admitted as a lawyer. She is going to be an absolute weapon. Not only is she a good lawyer and student, but is also an amazing mother of 3 infant children, plus one demon 2 year old and a 38 year old man child. I told her I loved her but she had her earphones in!
